Design and Engineering

Our Engineering and Design department supports all areas of the business by providing solutions to complex engineering problems through analysis, simulation and creation of robust procedures to ensure that parts can be manufactured or repaired to the highest possible standard.

All cad cam work is produced on Vero Visi software. This is a 3D solid modelling system with multi axis machining capabilities. The software is compatible with most other software formats and can take most native file formats.

The Rapid Prototyping team specialise in fast response low volume work and employ 3D printers to prove out designs on a low cost scale without the need to set up production equipment

In addition to production work, the engineers also work on internal and Group projects where new processes are to be introduced. This can be the design of new plant, modification of existing machinery or introduction of a new process line including cell manufacture and specification of all ancillary equipment.
